  3. What is a Rescue Animal? • Saved from imminent danger and destruction • Stray animals • Abused animals • Unwanted animals • A special friend in need of a special home

  4. Adopting a Rescue Animal • Are the animals spayed or neutered before adoption? • Is the animal evaluated by a veterinarian? • Is the animal’s temperament evaluated? • Are experienced people available for guidance after adoption?

  5. What Should I Expect? • Expect a lot of questions because the Angels want to be sure of you • Expect to be patient because I may not be housebroken or trained • Expect to give me a lot of love • Expect to get a lot of love in return
