  6. Active Directory的效益(一) • 單一的登入名稱 (Single Sign On)可以存取所有在 AD 的服務, 資源或應用程式。 • 使用者可以利用搜尋的功能找到 AD 內的資訊並加以使用。 • 分散式的資源可以集中管理或委任管理。 • 所有的服務或應用程式可以經由 AD 得到相關的資訊。 • 具有資料複製的功能，任何的變動，經過複製後，使用者所查詢到的資料都是一樣的。

  9. Active Directory 基本概念 • Directory由物件 Objects 所組成 • Objects 內含屬性 Attributes • 由特定的一群物件與屬性所定義出來的稱為架構Schema • 例如: 使用者帳戶 • 姓名、職稱、主管、辦公室位置、電話、部門、地址、等等

  10. Active Directory - OU 組織單位Organizational Unit • 在 AD 內是最低的一種編組, 同時 OU 也是一種容器 • 群組原則 Group Policy 可以作用到組織單位 • OU 可以委任管理工作 • OU 可以隱藏 Objects • 組織單位在圖形裡面以圓形來表示

  13. Active Directory - Domain Domain • 在階層式架構中比 OUs 還要上一級 • 在 Active Directory 是一種安全邊界 (security boundary) • OU 的內容屬性 (properties)只能在 domain 內繼承 - 無法跨越 domains • 提供一個複製的邊界 (replication boundary) • 在 Active Directory 以三角型代表

  15. Active Directory - Domain Tree Domain Tree • 經由父子 (parent-child relationship)關係所建立出來的 domain 階層式架構 • 所有的 domain 在 Domain Tree 裡面分享同樣的名稱區 (root namespace) • 使用者可以在 Domain Tree 裡面搜尋所有的資訊 • 在 Domain Tree 裡面使用同樣的 Schema

  16. Active Directory – Global Catalog Global Catalog • 在每一個 Domain 裡面有部份被複製的物件資訊是放在 GC 內 • 這些放在 GC 內的物件與屬性 (Objects and Attributes )是由網路管理者來決定 • 可以在 AD 內快速找到關鍵資訊而不用浪費時間在搜尋整個 AD • 同時能降低複製的 overhead

  17. Active Directory - Forest • Forest • Domain Trees 的結合: • 使用同樣的架構 schema • 分享同樣的 Global Catalog • 經由 Kerberos Trust 來結合 • 適合對於擁有一群子公司的企業集團而各子公司又要有管理者自主權的非常有用 • 提供多種 Internet 上公用名稱(microsoft.com, msnbc.com, etc.)

  18. Active Directory - Site • Site • 直接與網路拓樸以及網路連線有關 • 由連線區域的頻寬品質來定義 • 主要影響 • 使用者登入, 分散式檔案系統 (distributed file system) • Site boundaries are independent of domain boundaries
