  5. Rescuer checks and removes seal.

  6. Rescuer “cracks” cylinder valve.

  7. Rescuer attaches O-ring to regulator.

  8. Rescuer attaches regulator to cylinder.

  9. Rescuer opens cylinder valve.

  10. “M” Cylinder Diameter-index safety system. Holds 3,000 liters.

  11. Rescuer removes safety cap.

  12. Rescuer cracks cylinder valve.

  13. Rescuer attaches regulator to cylinder.

  14. Rescuer opens cylinder valve.

  15. Cylinder is secured in vehicle.

  16. Oxygen Therapy Nonrebreather Mask

  17. Nonrebreather Mask 12 - 15 lpm. Reservoir bag should not collapse when patient inhales.

  18. Rescuer attaches tubing to cylinder.

  19. Rescuer allows bag to fill.

  20. Rescuer applies mask to patient.

  21. Oxygen Therapy Nasal Cannula

  22. Nasal Cannula 4 - 6 lpm. A nasal cannula should only be used if the patient will not tolerate a nonrebreather mask.

  23. Rescuer attaches tubing to cylinder.

  24. Rescuer inserts prongs into patient’s nose.

  25. Rescuer makes adjustments under chin.
