  3. TIMELINE SORTING ACTIVITY • Draw a timeline on the side of one page. Cut and glue the dynasty cards into your exercise book in the correct chronological order. 1200 – 1299 1300 – 1399 1400 – 1499 1500 – 1599 1600 – 1699 1700 – 1799 1800 – 1899 1900 - 1999 13th Century 14th Century 15th Century 15th Century 17th Century 18th Century 19th Century

  4. Taking Control of China • In pairs, you must take on the role of one of the successful dynasties of China; the Yuan, Ming or the Qing. You must devise a presentation on your war strategy to take over China. • You have an information sheet in order to plan your strategy. • You need to produce a list of actions on how to take control of China. You will give a group presentation of your ideas (try to apply your knowledge of the geography and history of China to make informed decisions).

  5. Now present your ideas to the other group on your table. • You must now give a short presentation on your strategy to take control of China. • The other group must listen and identify two good ideas and two problems with the strategy.
