  15. CANSO‘s Seamless Airspace Working Group(SAWG) SESAR meets NextGen Work concreates on creating a tighter bond between the SAWG and existing modernisation efforts taking place in the major regions, eg in working with Eurocae and RTCA Interoperability standards. The global voice of ATM

CANSO position on ATSEP License • Competence = Training (initial / re-current) NOT Licensing • License = Irrelevant for recognised Chartered engineers • It is more Safety productive to regulate Design Output criteria • Design staff = apply ISO safety & quality methodologies • Competency = safety issue but equipment specific = certification • ANSP CERTIFIED = Criteria, Rules for formal qualification of staff The global voice of ATM
