Chandi Devi sanctuary is committed to Goddess Chandi. The sanctuary is otherwise called Chandika Devi sanctuary. Chandi Devi sanctuary is arranged in Dev Bhoomi Haridwar in Uttrakhand state, India. The sanctuary is situated at a separation of four km from "Har Ki Pauri." The sanctuary is situated on of the Nile Mountain on the eastern piles of southern scope of Himalaya mountains. Chandi devi photo of Goddess Chandi was set up in this sanctuary by Saint Shankaracharya in the eighth century. The sanctuary is among 53 shakteepetha and furthermore among five sacred spots of haridwar. The sanctuary was reconstructed by King Suchat Singh of Kashmir in 1929 AD.
