  2. SYDNEY OFFICE PEST CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES Cockroach Infestations in Office Kitchens • Office areas such as kitchens, kitchenettes, toilets and washrooms, drinks stations, vending machines, staff rooms and canteens areas are all susceptible to german cockroach infestation. German cockroach egg cases are introduced into the office environment by accident on bags and packaging.

  3. Each egg case carries approximately 30 German cockroach eggs of which 27 will be female. Once they hatch this minor infestation will soon turn into a major infestation under ideal conditions until every cupboard and piece of white goods is infested. • Quickly the infestation spreads out of the high risk area into the office and store areas. At this point the infestation will be more difficult to control so it is essential that preventative measures are in place to stop infestations early before they take hold.

  4. Rodents in the Office or the Staff Carpark • All rats are incontinent and so leave urine trails and excrement as they travel around searching for food.

  5. Rats primarily find food and shelter in the same places humans do and therefore interact with humans in various ways. More often than not, rats are found in Sydney's industrial and commercial areas but are also found in large numbers in some residential suburbs, especially those with numerous parks, creeks and railway lines. • Control of rats and mice in office blocks is essential for the health of those using the facilities.
