  2. BRIEF ITINERARY • Ladakh, also known as “The Land of High Passes” is a region in India located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The cold desert of India is known for its mesmerizing views and a culture which remains a mystery to many. It can also be said that the region is known to all, but visited by few. Its snow-capped peaks, the clear blue skies and the vistas of barren mountains broken only by meandering rivers has attracted many an intrepid traveler.

  3. Day 1: Arrive at Leh from Delhi • Fly into Leh from New Delhi. A one hour flight where you marvel at the snow clad Himalayas and Ladakh valley. Spend the day acclimatizing and getting set for your adventure. • for more information on Ladakh trip package

  4. Day 2: Local Leh sightseeing • Spend the day visiting the local sights of the Leh city. The Hall Of Fame Museum, the Shanti Stupa, Spituk Gompa and a lot more. Drive past the famous Magnetic hill and witness gravity-defying action and be marveled at the confluence of the Indus and Zaskar.

  5. Day 3: Pangong Tso lake • Drive to the famous Pangong Tso lake where the famous movie the 3 Idiots climax scene was shot. Drive past the high Chang-la pass and feed the cute marmots en route. Spend the night at a campsite on the banks of the lake. • We have many best trip packages in ladakh

  6. Day 4: Nubra Valley • Drive past the famous Khardung-la pass and reach Nubra valley. See the beautiful monastery of Diskit, with the imposing statue of the Buddha overlooking the valley and the sand dunes of Hunder. Ride the Bactrian double humped camels here. • Spend the night at Nubra at a luxury camp site or a cosy homestay.

  7. Day 5: Drive to Takmachik • Takmachik has situated in the banks of river Indus and is a 115 km journey. Altitude is around 2940 meters above the sea level. Enjoy the splendid scenery with the meandering Indus en route and receive a warm welcome from your local host family, the village practices organic farming and encourages eco-tourism.

  8. Day 6: Don't Sham it out and miss seeing Sham! • On the way back to Leh, we halt at Lamayuru and marvel at the beautiful monastery here that is carved from the rocks and get an experience of “mainland”!

  9. Day 7: The last night at Leh • Spend your day visiting the local market, shopping for souvenirs or just walking by the Indus and marveling at the sunset and looking at the star-filled night sky of Ladakh for the last time.

  10. Day 8: Au Revoir Ladakh • Leave Ladakh with memories to last you a lifetime and with a yearning to come back once again!
