23. Formatting a Worksheet 23 Conditional Formatting Select the cells to which you want to apply the conditional formatting
Select Conditional Formatting from the Format Menu.
Be sure the Cell Value Is is selected in the Conditional 1 Drop-down box on the left of the dialog box
In the next drop-down box to the right, select the conditions.
After selecting the condition, you must fill in a value or specify a cell or cells in the worksheet that Excel can use as a reference for the conditional formatting
Click the Expand button on the Conditional Formatting dialog box to expand the dialog box
Click the Format button on the Conditional Formatting dialog box and select the formatting options for the condition you specified in the dialog box
After setting the conditions to be met, click OK
