  3. Procedure to upgrade to V2.0 <Step 1> Install the PCMC software for TVM V2.0. (!) The PCMC software (V1.0) can not connect to TVM V2.0.

  4. Procedure to upgrade to V2.0 Compatibility between V2.0 and V1.0 The PCMC software for V2.0 supports both V2.0 and V1.0. If the connected TVM is V1.0, the mode is changed to V1.0 automatically. For V1.0 For V2.0

Shut down TVM Close the PCMC (V1.0 mode) 3. Power on TVM (!) Automatic IP address assignment If the TVM is connected to a network with a DHCP server, the TVM can obtain an IP Address and DNS Server address from the local network’s DHCP server. Mailbox Number Flexibility (a) Mailbox with various digit lengths New Parameter : Mailbox No. Length Mode “Fixed” [default] : The digit length of Mailbox No. is fixed to 2, 3, 4 or 5. “Flexible” : The digit length of Mailbox No. is flexible. This parameter can be changed only “MBXM” (Utility Command). (!) It is necessary to disconnect the PCMC from the TVM in order to activate the new setting.

Off Line : This status is that the port of TVM is not using by any call (incoming call or outgoing call).

If the total length of the path and the file name is over 128 characters, the PCMC can not open the file of System parameter. Condition : File : System parameter (Version 1) The total length of the path : Over 128 characters Countermeasure : Copy the file of System parameter on the folder of the short path. For example, it is on the Desktop. [Example] E:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Japan\Fukuoka\MinoshimaPCC \200710BackupFileVersion1\SystemParameters50_20071016120035.bkp (Over 128 characters)
