  2. You will be discussing an assigned topic related to The Second Bakery Attack in a group of 4-5 people for 3-5 minutes. Note that your performance will be assessed differently than if it were a solo talk. • It is vital that you allow others to speak and avoid monopolising the conversation. • You must not be offensive towards any member of the group in making your point. • Questions may be offered from the floor. The first and last minute are protected. The chairperson in each group controls these questions, of which a maximum of three may be asked.

  3. Chairperson Each group should have a chairperson whose responsibility it will be to: • Begin discussion with an opening remark. • Henceforth keep the discussion moving, remaining impartial. • Control questions from the floor.

  4. Topics • Your fate is predestined and any attempt to change it is futile. • A successful marriage is more reliant on compromise than love. • The better you know someone the harder it is to get along with them. • Women wear the trousers in most relationships. • Big companies like McDonalds embody all the evils of capitalism. • There should be a gun in every home.
