  2. Why aftercare matters? People get unique tattoo designs on their body and they really require aftercare because artist uses a needle to insert the ink in underneath skin. Leaving it open can make it more prone to infections.

  3. Cover Tattoo Make sure your tattoo is covered by a thin layer of petroleum jelly and a bandage. Remove that after 24 hours.

  4. Wash the Tattoo Gently wash the tattoo after cleaning hand properly with warm water.

  5. Apply Moisturizer Wash your tattoo twice a day and apply moisturizer with clean hands. Keep in mind that moisturizer must be a fragrance and alcohol free.

  6. Don’t Pull Scabs Don't pull scabs off and let them come out naturally. As intentionally doing it will leave scars and your tattoo will be ruined.
