Our Vision and Mission Vision OCMT aspires to become a leading institution of higher education nationally and regionally, where quality and excellence are maintained in line with international standards, to produce top caliber graduates with knowledge, skills and attitude. Mission OCMT strives to provide the local community an environment which is conducive for effective teaching–learning process by well qualified professionals supported by latest technological facilities. We also seek to provide the society, graduates who exhibit sound knowledge and skills required to meet the challenges of a dynamic modern society.

  3. Overview Before -OAAA Quality Audit Report : • No clear roadmap. • No documentation. • Conflict of interest. • Wet-paint Policy. After-OAAA Quality Audit Report : • Clear strategy plan. • Talk less vs. more evidence. • Quality first then Quantity. • Share of interest amongst diff. bodies.

  4. In other word: • We were missing some of (SMARTER): • Specific. • Measurable. • Aligned. • Timely. • Ethical. • Recorded.

  5. The Challenges • Changing in top-Management. • No culture in Quality field. • No archiving system/Policy. • “I was not being involved” attitude. • Looking for tangible benefit only.(N.P).

  6. Currently…… • The 31 Recommendations has been finally down to 2 (Under process). • And on the Affirmation, out of 12, it goes down to 1(Under process).

  7. POIs: These should work as a team • MoHE, • OAAA, • OQN, • Institutions founders, • Society culture, • Students, • Committees. • MoUs,

  8. Conclusion • As part of the new management of OCMT, a lot of lessons have been learn from managing and handling different staff with different culture. • Understanding the Quality Assurance activities of the college. • Following-up all to all the units involve about the recommendations/affirmations from the QA Report. • Facing all the issues with patience and courage.
