The ECQA: • Isa non-profit association, joining institutions and thousands of professionals from all over Europe and abroad. • Provides a Europe wide unified certificationfor numerous professions. • Brings together experts from the market and supports the definition and development of the knowledge (Skills Sets) required for professions. • Defines and verifies quality criteriafor Training organizations and Trainers to assure the same level of training all over the world. • Promotesall certified professionals.

  9. Infrastructure for exams and courses: • ECQAExams are computer-based and random. Exams are generated from a large question pool. • A central pool of test questions is used. • The Test pool is translated to several European languages (depending on countries participating at each profession schema). • The European test portal assures: • Registration of participants and logging of tests • Automatic correction of exams • Automation of certification process • A self testing portal for preparation for exams is available.
