Duties Examine patients' teeth, gums and jaws Clean teeth, repair damaged teeth and oral tissues Perform oral surgery Endodontistsuse root canal therapy and other supportive measures to prevent teeth showing diseases Orthodontists study the growth and development of teeth and jaws and straighten crooked or poorly spaced teeth. They must be and able to perform all duties Periodontists, Prosthodontists, Oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Oral and maxillofacial radiologists, and Oral pathologists,

  4. Working Conditions and Qualifications Dentists work in clean, well-lit and well-equipped offices. wear masks, gloves and safety glasses to avoid transmission of infectious diseases. They have all the equipment required

  6. Why I chose this job I want to be a dentist because my mom is one. I grew up always in my moms office and help out. I have braces, I go to get them changed every month buy my mom. Being a dentist is a good pay. You can earn half a million in a year with a successful clinic. Another reason is because I don’t want to deal with blood like a doctor and I don’t want to be an engineer because I'm not good at drawing or doing math.
