  3. Who is Mrs. Attard? • This is my 12th year teaching. • This is my 9th year at Voorhees. • I have been happily married for 5 years.

  4. HomeLogic ALL GRADES ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE The tracking of the number of missed or incomplete assignments can be accessed in HomeLogic by referencing the column labeled “# Missing Homework”. This column carries no weight on the daily class average. The number in the “# Missing Homework” column is of importance only. Remember that number represents missing assignments to date. At the end of each marking period the Department’s Homework Policy will be enacted and the final average adjusted appropriately.

Homework • We will be following the VHS Math Department HW Policy. • Your homework must be neat and organized. • All work must be shown on lined paper. • No Work = No Credit • Your answers must be circled or boxed in. • You must show evidence that you check your answers. Use a highlighter! • On occasion, homework will be collected and scored.

  7. CP Algebra 1 Summer Packet • All of your work must be shown. • No Work = No Credit • The packet will be reviewed in class.

  8. CP Algebra 1 • Summer Packet Test will be on Friday, September 6th.  There will be a calculator and no calculator part. If your grade on this test is below a 90%, you will retake the test after school until your grade improves. You are done when you have earned a 90% or higher on the test. The last day to take the Summer Packet Test will be on Monday, September 30th.  • Pre-Assessment will be on Monday, September 9th.  You may use a calculator on the entire assessment.  You will not receive a grade from this assessment. This is only for data collecting purposes.

  14. 8th GRADERS • You do not have to come to the Freshman PM Session on Wednesday. • You will always meet your bus in front of the cafeteria. • You do not come to Voorhees when we have a delayed opening. • Yes, you do come on ½ days. • You are responsible for any work that you miss. Please email me if you are going to be absent. Let me know in advance if you have a school trip. I will email you the work that you missed by 3:10. • Since you will be going back to your school after our class, you do not have the option of coming for help at Voorhees from 2:30-3:10. It is important that you ask questions and get help during class.

  15. HOMEROOM • Please take an agenda from the back table. • Do you have any forms for me? • I will call you up individually and give you your locker combinations. Please write down your combination in your agenda. • See guidance during lunch or study hall if you have any scheduling problems.
