  2. introduction • My fanzine website will be a fan website for the band Snow Patrol – they formed in 1994 after meeting at Dundee University. • The band is currently made up of 5 members: Gary Lightbody (vocals, guitar), Nathan Connelly (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Wilson (bass guitar, backing vocals), Jonny Quinn (drums) and Johnny McDaid (piano, guitar & backing vocals) • They have released 6 albums all of which have been very successful. Their most recent album Fallen Empires was released on the 11th of November 2011. • My website is different from their own one as it will have more information about the band history and each band member. I will also lightly cover past members.

  3. Target audience • My target audience for this website is anyone aged 16and upwards. Snow Patrol’s music is very easy listening and enjoyable by all ages. • However, their music may only appeal to listeners who enjoy this genre of music, for example, someone who regularly listens to rap music may not like Snow Patrol. • Snow Patrol have always reared towards rock/pop genre but their newest album has steered towards dance genre appealing to a wider audience.

  5. Assets • I aim to have a lot of different assets on my site to make it more interesting and appealing. I plan to include: • YouTube videos • Pictures • Slideshows (picture) • Song previews • Spry box

  6. Site map Home News Performances Photo Album Contact Us About the Band Current band members In the beginning Tour dates Early 2000s Festivals Past band members 2005 - 2012 2013 - present Album and EP Covers

  7. Navigation methods • There are a few ideas that I will consider for my navigation bar. I like the picture icons e.g. Coldplay website – however I like the use words to show exactly what each page is clearly. • I have chosen to use words on my navigation bar as it is a lot clearer and goes with my overall theme for my website.
