  2. Sikhism Pilgrimages Every Sikh pilgrim who travels on a Sikh pilgrimage of India, travels to the Golden Temple, in Amritsar. Situated in the north Indian state of Punjab, which is the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion and a place of pilgrimage for Sikhs worldwide. Known among the Sikhs as the Durbar Sahib, this holy shrine, its architecture, symbolism and religious significance, are deeply rooted in the history and traditions of Sikhism. The golden temple

  3. Why would they go One of the reasons Sikhs go to The Golden Temple is to Pray (very similar to how Christians go to church to pray). Sikhs go to Golden Temple as it is among the first Gurudwara built and also among the oldest Gurudwara. Furthermore, Golden Temple was the first Gurudwara where Sikhs holy scripture was first installed by Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Guru of Sikhs. Also Golden Temple is historically the cultural center of Sikhism.

  4. The Sikh god • Sikhs worship the same God that is worshiped by all monotheistic religions, They call him Waheguru. A monotheistic religion is religion with only one God.
