  2. AOI: Human Ingenuity • This subject we are doing called Electricity falls into the category Human Ingenuity • This is because Human Ingenuity when the skill humans use while thinking of new ideas such as when Benjamin Franklin use when he hooked a key to a kite and decided to fly it during a thunder storm • This is why the Unit we are doing called Electricity falls into the category of Human Ingenuity

  3. Series Circuit • A series circuit is one that connects an electrical source with its components one after the other, forming a single loop. The current flowing through each electrical component in a series circuit is the same. The disadvantage of a series circuit is that a break in any part of the circuit stops the flow of current in the whole circuit.

  4. Parallel Circuit • A parallel circuit is one that splits into two or more branches. The current flowing through each branch in the parallel circuit may be the same or different. But it is differently less that current flowing out from the source.

  5. Diagrams • Series Circuit • Parallel Circuit

  6. Pros and Cons • It is impossible to control the bulbs individually. This is one reason that series circuits are not practical for use in home lighting: It is not possible to control the lights in different rooms throughout the house on the same circuit. For example, if someone wanted to read the newspaper or watch television, he would have to turn on a switch that would put on every light and electrical appliance in the whole house.
