Enhancing Math Performance: An Action Plan for Monahan Elementary

This action plan aims to increase TAKS math scores for at-risk student groups, including AA, Hispanic, White, low-SES, and special education populations, to meet or exceed state averages. Strategies include identifying at-risk students through pre-tests, implementing targeted interventions, and providing ongoing assessments. Key initiatives involve a Math Lab with an intervention specialist, after-school programs, and support from retired teachers. Furthermore, weekly meetings with instructional coaches and classroom observations will ensure effective teaching practices are utilized in alignment with the C-Scope curriculum.
