NTI Curriculum Themes • 9th Grade Curriculum Topics – Foundations of Innovation and Entrepreneurism • Innovative Perspectives (English 9 and U.S. History) – 4 credits • Geometry and Engineering Design (Geometry and IED)– 4 credits • Biological Advancements (Biology) – 2 credits • Wellness (Physical Education and Health) – 4 credits • Elective (Interactive Media, World Language, Innovation or Business Elective) – 2 credits • 10th Grade Curriculum Topics – Preparation for Innovation and Entrepreneurism • English in 21st Century – 2 credits • Global Economy (Business Principles and GHW) – 4 Credits • ICAP (ICP and Algebra) or Movement (Physics and Algebra II) – 4 credits • Electives (Principles of Engineering, World Language, Fine Arts Elective, Interactive Media, Creative Writing, Innovation Elective) – 4 credits

  17. ? How do I know if I am a good fit?

Desire to learn in a project based, team focused learning format centered around academic content and standards. • Some experience and/or comfort in working with computers • Ability and desire to complete a Core 40, Core 40/AH, or Core 40/TH diploma path. Students should be at least Algebra ready upon entry to NTI. • Interest in the topics/focus of the curriculum – Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership • Focus on integrating Academic Rigor with 21st Century Learning Skills .

  19. Things to keep in mind…. • Student may participate in sports/extra curriculars at home district school but we will have our own clubs and activities. • Not a charter school; but we are our own independent, public high school in the EVSC. Students will graduate from NTI. We are a small school model with a maximum of 400 students (max. 100 per grade level). • Bus transportation will be provided for students living in Vanderburgh County.
