  4. According to Rick Warren,for a church to be healthyit must become a Purpose-Driven Church.

  6. Make the shift from programsto a people-building process and Invitational Ministry. God will build the church.

  7. Unless the driving force behind a church is scriptural, the health and growth of the church will never be what God intended. Strong churches are not built on programs, personalities, or gimmicks. They are built on the purposes of God.

  8. Five purposes Christ ordained for the church • Love the Lord with all your heart: Worship-Magnify • Love your neighbor as yourself: Ministry-Service • Go and make disciples: Evangelism-Mission • Baptizing them: Fellowship-belong-Membership • Teaching them to obey: Discipleship-Maturity
