Join us for an informative 4th Grade Curriculum Night! Please find your student's desk and settle in. We’ll cover our daily schedule, class rules, and exciting opportunities for parent involvement. The evening includes an agenda overview and brief sessions on math, language, reading, and social studies. Learn how you can support your child's learning through participation in class projects, volunteering, and tracking homework assignments. Your partnership is essential for your child's success.   1. WELCOME! • Please find your student’s desk and be seated. • Extra chairs in the back of the room and around horseshoe table. • Papers at desk are for that specific student. • Thank you for being here tonight.

  3. Schedule • 8:14-8:20 agenda, opening • 8:20-9:20 math • 9:20-9:35 recess • 9:40-10:30 language • 10:30-11:10 specials • 11:10-12:00 social studies or science • 12:00-12:40 recess / lunch • 12:40-1:20 viking time • 1:25-2:55 reading • 2:55-3:00 clean up/ dismiss

  4. Class Rules • Stay on task • Try your best • Act responsibly • Respect others

  5. Discipline Plan Consequences Rewards Feel pride in behavior Special classroom privileges Participate in Friday’s drawing for prizes Lunch Bunch • Reminder / Clip Chart • Lose recess • Ineligible for Lunch Bunch and Friday’s drawing • Parent Contact • Office Visit

  6. Rewards • Lunch Bunch • Tickets for drawing • Marbles for class parties

  7. Agenda/Assignments • Students fill this out daily • Parent signature daily to earn stamps • Agenda Bingo • Late or missing work results in missed recess and Lunch Bunch • C.T. • Grades on Infinite Campus

  8. Homework • Homework Bingo for stamps • Reading 4 Square-due on Fridays with signature • Spelling Packet-due on Fridays • Practice math facts 5-10 minutes each night

  9. Parent Volunteers • Handout is on horseshoe table: starts in October.  • Parent Helpers • Room Mothers • Art Masterpiece • Tuesdays and Thursdays TBD • Reading: 1:30-2:30 pm

  10. Field Trips • Tombstone/Bisbee/Kartchner Caverns • Saturday, November 2nd • Project Exploration • TAX CREDIT • Arizona Dons of Superstition Mountains • Hiking, centers • February 21st
