  4. SVH Recognition Process ESTIMATED Timeline-After the initial request letter is received from the State: 6 – 9 Months: The Entire Process 1 – 2 Weeks: Once all materials are received 1 – 2 Months: Internal Concurrence Process

  5. SVHRecognition Process Major Obstacles Completion of the Survey Securing the proper number of residents prior to survey Indicating ALL standards are met Collecting all the necessary forms

  6. Recognition Survey To be recognized the SVH must meet ALL standards set by VA Per Diem is granted on the date all standards are met
