  1. Kuchipudi Performance AtNrityangana, we are committed to nurturing the deep rooted culture and heritage of Indian classical dance forms through dedicated training, immersive experiences with living traditions, and colourful performances. As the prominent Kuchipudi dance institute in Hyderabad, Nrityangana is a platform where budding dancers have a nurturing framework to learn and grow from a highly experienced set of instructors. While training is delivered in the classroom, we embrace several skills on the stage. Our students are regularly given the opportunity to perform live in Kuchipudi performances that help develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of expressiveness. The mission of Nrityangana is to retain the cultural legacy of Kuchipudi while developing the next generation of performers with an authentic and artistically sound sense of performance tradition. In aKuchipudi Performanceform there is a co-mingling of rhythm, expression, story, and aesthetics. Originating as a devotional practice, Kuchipudi as performance builds on the traditions of devotional practice from Andhra Pradesh and performances have stories from Indian epics and mythology, all interlaced through movement, including grace and beautiful footwork, while simultaneously employing the performative dialogue of abhinaya (expressions). Using a blend of family friendly motifs and a spiritual/metaphysical narrative, students at Nrityangana engage in Kuchipudi performances in public venues that reflect their artistic practice and the discipline they

  2. develop during training. These types of stage shows allow aspiring performers the chance to demonstrate their skills while honouring the cultural/spiritual aspects of Kuchipudi. Each Kuchipudi Performance is aimed at delighting an audience and at the same time retaining the classical structure and emotive capacity of the traditional form. For more details :Contact Us
