  1. Virat Kohli Describes His Bond with MS Dhoni in Two Words Former India captain MS Dhoniand current India skipper Virat Kohli’s friendship is known to all. Recently, in fan interaction, Virat Kohlidescribed his bond with Dhoni as one of “trust” and “respect” as well. When he was asked during a question and answer session on Instagram to describe in two words his bond with the legendary MS Dhoni, he wrote: “Trust, Respect”. Meanwhile, during an Instagram chat with Ashwin last year, Kohli praised MS Dhoni, citing that he had “played a big role in him becoming the captain of the national team”. “I have always been inclined towards taking responsibility. After my debut for India, it just about wanted to play; it was about being in the Indian XI all the time. Then, with your intrigue in the game, you start talking to the captain regularly. I was always in MS’s ears, discussing differenttactic,” Kohli had said. “I think he got a lot of confidence that I can do this after him. I think he played a big role in that (taking over the captaincy).”

However, in a recent statement on Saturday, BCCI general secretary Jay Shah has revealed that due to the monsoon season in India during September-October, the board has picked UAE as the venue to resume the T20 league. “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced to complete the remaining matches of VIVO Indian Premier League 2021 season in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) considering the monsoon season in India in the months of September-October this year,” Jay Shah said in a statement.
