  1. Deep Dasgupta Says Virat Kohli to Use His Words Wisely On the Field In India, cricket is something which everyone loves to play and children look up to the cricketers as their inspiration and role model. While talking about the same, former Indian wicket-keeper batsman Deep Dasgupta said that the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli should be careful about his gestures and choice of words while being on the field. Virat Kohli is known for his aggressive nature on the field as he has often been seen expressing his passion through aggression. Keeping this in mind, Deep Dasgupta pointed that Kohli’s energy on the field gets him going and motivates him to do better as well but off the field, he is different. During a Q&A on his YouTube channel, while talking about Virat Kohli’s ‘shush finger’ celebration, Deep Dasgupta said, “You talked about him being there as a captain. Yes, he’s the ambassador of the country, especially when you are playing outside India… As I said, I wasn’t in Southampton so I don’t know how he behaved… I agree (he needs to choyose his words and gestures in the right way), some of the things, I know he gets carried away. As you said, there are kids who are watching him, he’s a role model for millions of kids and I agree with that.”

  2. Virat Kohli is the captain who never minces his words and leads from the front and has been seen motivating the players by giving them inputs. Amidst this, sometimes sledging gets included with the opposition as well. While talking about Kohli’s gesture, the New Zealand pace bowler Neil Wagner had also stated that the crowd tried to get under Kohli’s skin. During the post match press conference after the WTC final, Wagner said, “Yes, the crowd started singing Zombie… They were singing, ‘In your head Kohli, in your head Kohli, Kohli.’ So they were trying to get under Kohli’s skin a little bit and Kohli kept giving it around, giving them the shush fingers.” Follow CricadiumStats, Latest Cricket News, Live Cricket Score, Fantasy Tips and Today Match Prediction Stay updated Indian cricket team with all the cricketing roster, records, history & action.
