  1. Brad Hogg Picks His Best XI Of IPL 2021 As the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League got postponed after several players got infected in different cities by the deadly COVID-19 virus, a lot of former cricketers and experts have shared their best ‘XIs’, including Brad Hogg, who analyse games and shares his insight with fans on his YouTube channel. Hogg recently came back with another ‘Best XI’ video as well. However, the former Australian wrist-spinner has picked up his ‘Best IPL 2021 XI’ where the Delhi Capitals opening duo of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan has been added in the XI as well. Dhawan and Shaw were the most consistent opening duo in the competition and both of them placed in the Top 5 run-scorer in the competition which saw the veteran add the Capitals duo as the openers of his team as well. Then Hogg selected Sanju Samson at No.3 and the captain of Delhi Capitals, Rishabh Pant, at No.4 as well. While so far it was not surprising considering the form of the players, it was definitely surmising that the former spinner has chosen the Pant as the captain of his XI as well, despite having chosen several other senior players in his team. Notably, Rishabh Pant did quite well in his maiden season as captain as Delhi topped the points table when the tournament came to a halt due to COVID-19. For the No.5 and 6 in Hogg’s team, he chose the ever destructive AB de Villiers and the swashbuckling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and at 7, interestingly, he picked up Sam Curran. However, this one was a bit surprising as he didn’t have a good show in the league but he got selected ahead of other match-winners like Glenn Maxwell, Moeen Ali, and Kieron Pollard – who all had a great season as well. Meanwhile, he chose Rashid Khan at 8, while Rahul Chahar got selected as the second leg-spinner in the team. The fast bowling attack of his team has been leading by the Indian duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Avesh Khan as well. Hogg’s Best IPL 2021 XI Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant (wk & c), AB de Villiers, Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Rashid Khan, Rahul Chahar, Avesh Khan, Jasprit Bumrah
