  5. We are writing this letter to request that the organization, Medford SpED PAC, be removed from the SPEDWatch membership registration and member listings. As we understand, a member of the Medford community registered the organization, Medford SpED PAC, as a member of SPEDWatch. Medford SEPAC or Medford Special Education Parent Advisory Council is the special education parent advisory organization that is described in Section 3 of Chapter 71B of Massachusetts General Laws. As Medford’s SEPAC, we believe that it is not appropriate for this organization to become a member of SPEDWatch. We understand that individuals within the Medford community may decide to register for membership with your organization and do believe that type of membership is more appropriate as it is both a personal and individual decision. Thank you for your time on this matter. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kathy Aluia at 781-956-8770 or kaluia@comcast.net or Mary Finn at 781-391-2353 or maryfinn@comcast.net, Medford SEPAC’s Co-Chairs.
