CA Exam 2024 Postponement: Delhi HC Will Hear Petition To Reschedule CA Final And Inter Exams DESCRIPTION The Delhi High Court will hear a petition to postpone the Chartered Accountant (CA) exams (which are scheduled to take place in May 2024) on April 8, 2024. Many candidates are requesting that the government postpone the CA exam date in 2024 due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Previously, the ICAI postponed the CA intermediate and final exams until May. The revised schedule came out after the Election Commission announced the dates for the general election. Candidates are dissatisfied with the amended timetable and have requested that the CA exam date be pushed back to June 2024. CA Foundation Exam Date 2024 Remains Unchanged According to the updated dates, the CA Foundation Exams 2024 will be held on June 20, 22, 24, and 26, 2024. There will be no changes to this schedule. CA Exam Date 2024: Why Are Candidates Demanding Exam Postponement? CA Candidates are calling for an exam postponement due to potential concerns (such as electoral pandemonium, demonstrations, and violence) during the 18th Lok Sabha elections. “Considering continuous requests & hardships of CA students, we have filed a petition in Delhi HC seeking rescheduling of CA Exams from May to June 2024.
