  1. Things You Should Know About FAA Pre- Employment Drug Test

  2. Testing employees for drugs and alcohol help to maintain a safe working environment and forces workers to act by company policy. Testing employees on a national scale for drugs not only helps the firm enhance its reputation but also reduces expenses connected to accidents that occur on the job. However, some employees are opposed to the idea of drug testing because they feel that it violates their right to freedom and privacy. Because employers are responsible for determining whether or not their staff members come to work under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

  3. What exactly is an FAA drug test? Flying is such a high-stakes, high-performance occupation, one must never, ever take the risk of hiring persons who are likely to struggle with substance abuse to work in the aviation industry. It was designed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure compliance with DOT regulations regarding the testing of FAA personnel for using illegal drugs or alcohol.

  4. How exactly was this policy formulated? The Department of Transportation was one of the federal agencies that were required to develop a drug testing program for its employees, and they did it in a manner that was both thorough and compliant with the law. The FAA was part of the cascade, and drug testing was implemented for air traffic controllers and cover pilots. These days, a drug testing policy may be found in most organizations and offices.

  5. Testing for drugs before employment An employer must do a FAA pre-employment test before hiring a new individual or shifting an existing employee from a non- safety-sensitive position to a safety-sensitive function. During the FAA pre-employment drug test, we will be looking for the following substances: Cocaine Opiates Marijuana Phencyclidine Meth (Amphetamines)
