  7. HEB: Corporate Partner • Annual Recognition and Promoting of • Quality Early Education Programs: 2012 First Texas Award: AVANCE, San Antonio • Recognizing and Supporting Parents as their Child’s First Teacher: • Read 3 Program • Store Literacy Centers

City of San Antonio: Civic Partner • Providing Head Start Services City-wide • Initiating the P16 Plus Council: PK-3 sub-committee – a collaboration of nonprofit agencies, school districts, corporate partners, and City services to improve the quality of life for San Antonio’s youngest citizens
