  2. DID YOU KNOW??? • Colon cancer is the third most diagnosed cancer in the US for both men and women. • The total length of your large intestine is approximately 6 FT. long and it ends at the anus where feces are eliminated from the body. • The small intestines length is approximately 26 ft. long.

  3. The Function of the Colon • The colon is apart of the digestive system, the system that nourishes and protects our bodies. • To compact the chime, absorb water and essential vitamins from the foods we eat, receive B-vitamins that are produced by healthy intestinal bacteria, expel toxins and waste from our body. To perform these functions efficiently, friendly bacteria need fiber!!!

  4. The Importance of a Clean Colon • Prevent Poor Digestion • Prevent Self-Poisoning • Prevent Colon Cancer

  5. Causes of Poor Digestion • Our bodies are not capable of eliminating all the different toxins and chemicals we inhale and ingest every day so they accumulate in our cells (particularly fat cells). • The remainder is stored in the body unless we cleanse our bodies and flush out all this toxic build up.  This build-up could ultimately cause health problems. •   Mucous build-up leaves behind a sticky glue-like substance that coats the walls of the colon and accumulates layer by layer forming a hard rubbery crust which hinders the colon’s ability to absorb vital nutrients our bodies need.  Poor Digestion leads to autointoxication…

  6. Causes of Self Poisoning • Process in which you are poisoned by substances produced by your own body; because of poor digestion and /or incomplete or too few bowel movements. • Every cell of our body is affected by self-poisoning.  When the toxins collect in the Nervous System, we feel irritable, depressedand weakif back up into the Heart, bloated if they reach the Stomachand havebad breathif they reach our Lungs. • If the poisons try to escape through our Skin, rashes and blotches develop, or we look pale and our skin appears wrinkly. If the toxins make it to the Glands, we feel fatigued, our sex drive may decrease and we appear to look much older than our actual age. Toxic and the Carcinogens may develop into colon or rectal cancers…

  7. Symptoms of an Unhealthy Colon • Frequent constipation or diarrhea, poor elimination & irregular bowel movements • Frequent congestion, sinus problems, viruses &colds • Frequent Intestinal disorders & Gas • Frequent headaches • General aches &pains that migrate from one place to another • Lower back pain • Lowered immune system or lowered resistance to infections • Needing to sleep for long periods of time • Low tolerance to fatty foods • Pain in your liver and/or gall bladder • Frequent fatigue &low energy • Excess weight • Frequent yeast or candida infections • Skin problems, rashes, acne, eczema and boils • Sore breasts and vaginal infections

  8. Ways to cleanse your colon safely • Increase Fiber & Water Intake • Diet and Fasting • Colon Cleansers • Hydro Colon Therapy

  9. Colonoscopy • Colonoscopy is a procedure used to see inside the colon and rectum; to detect inflamed tissue, ulcers, and abnormal growths. • The procedure is used to look for early signs of colorectal cancer and can help doctors diagnose unexplained changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, bleeding from the anus, and weight loss. • Colonoscopy screenings are so important for people over the age of 50. The American Cancer Society recommends that in order to prevent colorectal cancer, men and women over the age of 50 should receive a colonoscopy every 10 years.
