  3. Animals Armadillo Lizard Banded Gila Monster Javeline The nostrils of the Armadillo Lizard are formed into little tubes. The tubes help the lizard smell for food and predators. The monster is very shy but Can strike back very quickly With painful results. The javeline is the only wild pig in north America it looks like a pig except a little bigger.

Plants Creosote Bush Desert lornwood Ocotillo The ocotillo has many names such as candlewood, slim wood, vine cactus, flaming sword and Jacobs staff this plant is located in the southwestern united states and northern Mexico The desert ironwood only grows in the washes and valley of the sonoran desert .The sonoran desert is located in southwestern Arizona southern and northern Mexico. The creosote bush is named that way because it smells a lot like the creosote tar.

  5. Temperature • Hot and Dry Deserts temperature ranges from 20 to 25° C. The maximum temperature for Hot Desert ranges from 43.5 to 49° C. Cold Deserts temperature in winter ranges from -2 to 4° C and in the summer 21 to 26° C a year.

  6. Rainfall • Hot and Dry Deserts usually have very little rainfall and concentrated rainfall in short periods between long rainless periods. This averages out to under 15 cm a year.

  7. Activity's affect the desert • Hunting is an activity that affects the desert because it kills the animals and they must stop so their be more animals

  8. Environment • Desert environment is fresh and clean people take care of it like its their place if the desert didn’t have good environments no one can go and animals will be affected and they will die.
