  1. Our guest speaker could not come to the meeting, so we had our first You Tube Night. We viewed several Genealogy Gems. One was about Google Time Line. Google Time line (http://newstimeline.googlelabs.com/) is helpful for Genealogists as well as anyone wanting to see what was happening on different dates. It gives the genealogist some background information so they can tie in what was happening in their ancestor’s lives with world events. We also watched a Genealogy Gem where she interviewed handwriting expert. The expert described her Grandfather’s personality by looking at his handwriting. Chris brought the 101 best Genealogy Websites from Family Tree Magazine. We looked http://www.ancientfaces.com/, http://www.deadfred.com/, and https://www.familysearch.org/. We discussed our brick walls and talked about ways we could find the information we were looking for.
