Project Overview • The purpose of this project was to augment and expand the current HSD video conference network by 22 more offices. • The benefit will be automation of the current manual scheduling function, reduced travel cost and travel time to attend meetings, and improved communication between field staff. • The expanded equipment was successfully installed, tested and is now in production.

  3. Project Delays / Lessons Learned • The project took far too long to complete. • Delays commonly tie back to state resource availability and scheduling commitments. • Internal resource forecasts need improvements and should receive proper review up front. • Staff turnover through the end of 2013 encompassed the entire technical team including the bureau chief.
