  1. Martin Luther King The Great Activist Last night Martin Luther King was shot dead outside a hotel in Memphis Tennessee. A white man was seen fleeing the scene.

  2. Martin Luther King The Great Activist King is seen by America and the rest of the world as one of greatest civil rights activists ever. Awarded the Nobel peace prize in 1964 for his sterling work in the black civil rights movement. His speaking skills would have given Hitler a run for his money.

  3. Martin Luther King The Great Activist • He was born in Atlanta, also the place he grew up, on January 15 , 1929. He experienced racism there just like many other black children he lost some close friends simply because of their racist parents King grew up around the things he was recently challenging and admiring the non-violent teachings of Ghandi

  4. Martin Luther King The Great Activist When King was older he headed such organisations as the M.I.A. and the southern Christian leadership conference. He inspired the Sit-ins and the Freedom Rides and will be missed by blacks and whites alike.
