  2. What is psilocybin? • Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic mushroom that turns into psilocin when ingested and psilocin is what causes you to have trips. Other names for psilocybin Shrooms Booms Magic Mushrooms

History of psilocybin • Carmen Hillier believed that humans from East Africa had a diet that consisted of some psilocybin mushrooms a million years ago.  • The Aztecs have been using psilocybin for centuries.  They thought that psilocybin had a religious significance.  It was so important that they called it "God's flesh." 

  4. Who uses psilocybin? • Most of the people who are using psilocybin are using it recreationally and for the experience.  • In some cases, it's been used for OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.)  and to treat cluster headaches

  5. Where do you get psilocybin? • Psilocybin mushrooms can be found growing all over.  • Buy them from a source. • You can order the spores online and grow it at home.

Effects of psilocybin • Loss of appetite and nausea • Euphoria • Increased heart rate • Elevated blood pressure • Pupil dilation • Muscle relaxation • Changes to sound and sight.  • Perception is enhanced • Contrast of colors is increased • Surfaces will shimmer or ripple. • Music and sounds are increased • Synesthesia which is a visualization of color upon hearing a sound

Risks of psilocybin • Ingesting psilocybin can cause stomachaches, nausea and possible vomiting. • Easily mistaken for poisonous mushrooms • Becoming very sick from bad mushrooms • Bad trips can happen and there's no going back until the effects have worn off. • Psilocybin can make existing mental problems worse.
