  6. 5. Put phrases/titles in quotations.! “family life” Iran

  7. Book title: “my life in iran” book

  8. 6. Use a minus sign (-) to exclude! “family life” iran -food

  9. For info about the bird, not football: falcons -football

  10. 7. Google assumes the word andbetween words! women iran

  11. 8. Use OR(in caps) to search for either one of several words! women OR children iran

  12. 9. Find results in a specific domain! Use site:edu (or org, gov, net, mil). “family life” iran site:edu

  13. 11. Find results in a specific format! Use filetype:ppt (doc, pdf) “family life” iran filetype:ppt
