Key Insights from Today's NGS Data Modeling and Management Session

Today, we focused on essential aspects of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data. We covered how to model NGS data effectively, discussed the SRA data model, and demonstrated the process of retrieving NGS data using the ENA Browser. Additionally, we explored strategies for storing large NGS datasets, including the use of SRA Webin and SRA REST services. Finally, we learned about data compression techniques, specifically CRAM. The session featured insights from the ENA Team and highlighted significant contributions from various team members.
