The seed coat samples were prepared from developing soybean seeds, and expression of the Actin 3 gene was examined as an invariant control. Open arrowheads indicate the positions of cDNA amplicons corresponding to each target sequence, whereas the filled arrowhead indicates that of genomic amplicons (DNA lanes). Lanes C correspond to a transgenic line harboring the control vector (pUHR).
