This project focuses on developing and implementing effective FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) control measures in food service establishments. Initial surveys gauge industry perceptions and current practices. We collaborated with the Health Department to distribute training and educational materials, including a video resource, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and a grease trap cleaning frequency calculator. Trends indicate positive change as we evaluate what works and what doesn’t from survey responses. Our goal is to protect profits and promote sustainable practices in the food service sector.
