  4. Role of the Captain/Leader • Take 2 minutes to discuss what some of the roles are as a captain/leader of your organization. - Who was the best student leader/captain that you have seen operate? - What was it that made them great? - How can we become great for our organization?

Captain/Leader • Lead by Example - Responsible, Accountable, Committed - Gives 100% Effort all the Time • Keep the Organization Moving in the Right Direction • Organization First • Take Care of the Little Things • Think as the Leader of a Group, Not as an individual 3. Motivates Members to Want to get Better, pursue group goals - Inspires others to Work Hard - Passionate, Determined, Resilient - Treat Everyone with Respect - Everyone has a valued Role

Captain/Leader • Strong Willed- Not Afraid to Stand Up for What is RIGHT - Principles and Core Values that Govern to the Organization • Loyalty • Look out for Each Other • Always have your back • Able to Relate • - In tune with what is happening within the organization • - Tap into others ideas • Team Building Functions - Dinners, Social Events, Community Activities, Hang-Out!!!!! • 8. Player-Coach Liaison • - Relay player/team issues to the coach • - Maintain Unified Front in Public- Discuss concerns in private
