Experiment Time! • Steps: • Place the bowl on the tray and fill it to the brim with water (it must be full to the brim for this to work) • Push the 1k cube into the bowl but don’t put your hand in the water. Pull the cube out when it has been fully submerged. (you may want to use something to push it down like a ruler) • pour the water that spilled into the tray into the jug and see how much water you have. If you have 1 litre then you have done this correctly. • Do this multiple times to see if you get the same results.

  3. Mass • Mass is the unit to measure weight from an objet not liquids which are measured in liters, milliliters and in America they use gallons.

  4. Capacity • Capacity is the unit used to measure how much pool, bath, bowl, drink bottle, plant pot, etc. it is commonly use for liquids but it could be used for other things.
