  2. Medicare/Medicaid loses $6.8 million every hour, due to fraud and abuse.

  3. This loss affects all Americans.

  4. Help Prevent Medicare/Medicaid fraud and abuse by following these simple steps:

  5. Never give out your bank account information over the phone to someone you don’t know.

  6. Nevergive out your Social Security number to someone you don’t know.

  7. Nevergive your Medicare ID number to someone you don’t know.

  8. Always review your Medicare Summary Notices.

  9. Always keep records of your health care visits.

  10. If something doesn’t look right on your bill, call your health care provider and ask questions.
