  3. Birth Rate The birth rate is calculated by taking the total number of births and dividing it by the total population then multiply by 1000 to show per 1000 people.

  6. Mortality Rate The mortality rate is calculated by taking the total number of deaths and dividing by the total population then multiply by 1000 to show the amount per 1000 people.
