  2. Color Guard clinics & try-outsare scheduled starting today, Wed., also Thurs. & Fri., May 14, 15 & 16from 2:30-4 pm in band rm.

  3. Attention all DECA members: Our last meeting of the year will be today, Wed. May 14 after school in Ms. Thornburgh's rm, C225. We will be having a pizza party to celebrate our successful year …

  4. … especially Jake Tomlinson's outstanding performance at ICDC. We'll also do some planning for next year. All current DECA members are welcome!

  5. Any male athletes interested in boys basketball need to plan on attending a mtg tomorrow, Thur. May15 @ 2:30pm in Coach Peterson's rm, E-213. We'll be discussing summer plans which include camps, leagues & tournaments…

  10. Seniors! Exciting times are ahead & we want to know where you will land next school year. Keeping with tradition, sign the poster in College & Career Center. See where your 2014 classmates are going!

  11. A big THANK YOU to Coach Chris McKenna, Coach Ed Thompson and Jordan McKenna for all of your time, dedication, and an incredible season! Chaparral had a big presence in the D1 State Championship and State Finals.

  12. Congrats to Sam Tooker for placing 2nd in the State Meet & setting a new school record in the long jump @ 23'2.75" & winning 1st place in the Triple Jump. He has the new school record in both events!!

  14. …Rachel Thomas in the girls mile for running a great race! Congrats to Brandon Jamison for setting a new school record of 38.11 & placing 3rd in 300 hurdles!!

  15. Congrats to the boys 4x 800 in order Matthew Gordon, Matt Guthrie, Brendan Seville & Danny Loonamfor finishing strong & running a great race! Matthew Gordon will be running at PVCC next year.

  16. Matthew Guthrie and Brendan Seville will be going to Barrett's Honor College at ASU… Congrats Mattie Gomez for a fantastic performance in the 200 meter and strong anchor finish in the 4x400 relay. Good luck at U of A!
