COLOR CORPS TRAINING MASS PROCEDURES • COMMUNION • REMOVE GLOVES WHILE KNEELING AFTER THE CONSECRATION • WHEN RISING AFTER THE “GREAT AMEN” TURN CLOCKWISE AND PLACE GLOVES AND CHAPEAU ON THE PEW (MAY HOLD HANDS DURING “OUR FATHER”) • AFTER CONGREGATION, PROCEED FORWARD TO RECEIVE COMMUNION, BODY & BLOOD • RETURN TO PEW AND REGLOVE

  10. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-leads H.G. at “Carry Swords” down center aisle and “Halts” at front of church.

  11. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-does “About Face”. H.G.-then does “Face” to the center

  13. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-takes step forward and “Present Sword”, steps back, while at “Present Sword” H.G.-“Present Sword” until all process through

  15. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C. & H.G. – “Face” toward the altar

  16. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS When the C.C.C. wants the H.G. to return to the rear of the church: C.C.C. – centers himself on the 2 columns and steps toward the altar H.G. – march across front aisle to respective side aisle to the rear of the church

  17. Procession into Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.- “About Face” and goes down the center aisle to back of church H.G.-Proceed to down side aisles to back of church

  18. Procession into Church ALTAR H.G.-enter pews from the side aisle. C.C.C.-commands “Return Swords”, remove chapeau, etc. PEWS PEWS

  20. Recession from Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS After Final Blessing, cover and draw swords C.C.C.-leads H.G. at “Carry Swords” down center aisle and “Halts” at front of church.

  21. Recession from Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.- does “About Face”. H.G.-then does “Face” to the center

  22. Recession from Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-marches between the columns to the rear of church H.G.-when C.C.C. passes 1st H.G., they take 1 step forward, face to rear of church, march to rear of church in step with the C.C.C.

  23. Recession from Church ALTAR PEWS PEWS H.G.- when preceding H.G. goes by, take 1 step forward, face to rear of church, march to rear of church, in step with the preceding H.G., each succeeding pair of H.G. does the same

  24. Recession from Church (narrow main aisle) ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-leads H.G. at “Carry Swords” down center aisle and “Halts” at front of church.

  25. Recession from Church (narrow main aisle) ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.- does “About Face”. H.G.- then does “Face” to the center

  26. Recession from Church (narrow main aisle) ALTAR PEWS PEWS C.C.C.-marches between the columns to the rear of church H.G.-when C.C.C. passes 1st H.G. on C.C.C.’s right takes 1 step forward, face to rear of church, march to rear of church, in step with C.C.C.

Recession from Church (narrow main aisle) ALTAR PEWS PEWS H.G.-when 1st H.G. on C.C.C.’s right takes 1 step to rear of church the opposite H.G. takes 1 step forward, turns to the rear of the church and marches to the rear of the church, in step with preceding H.G. Each succeeding pair of H.G. does the same.

  28. Recession from Church (narrow main aisle) ALTAR PEWS PEWS H.G.-when the H.G. marching to the rear of the church clears the last H.G. facing into the aisle he moves toward the pews on the side he was on to form 2 columns

  30. CASKET WATCH POSTING 1ST GUARDS CASKET C.C.C. will lead 1st pair of H.G. with swords at “Carry Sword” position to the casket and “Halt”. C.C.C. commands “Present Sword” and “Carry Sword”. C.C.C. commands “Guards Post”. H.G. will go to each end of the casket, where they will “Face” each other. The guards will remain at the position of “Carry Sword”. If a guard is unable to stand at “Carry Sword” then both guards may stand at “Parade Rest”.

  31. CASKET WATCH POSTING 1ST GUARDS CASKET C.C.C. will “About Face” and return to the assembly room, or maneuver as necessary to return to the assembly room.

  32. CASKET WATCH RELIEVING GUARDS CASKET C.C.C. will lead pair of H.G. with swords at “Carry Sword” position to the casket and “Halt”. H.G. will “Side Step” 2 steps from the C.C.C.

  33. CASKET WATCH RELIEVING GUARDS CASKET C.C.C. will command “Guards Return”. H.G. at the casket will “Face” toward the new watch and move on line to the space next to the C.C.C. and “About Face”. C.C.C. will command “Present Sword” and them “Carry Sword”.

  34. CASKET WATCH RELIEVING GUARDS CASKET C.C.C. commands “Guards Post”. H.G. will go to each end of the casket, where they will “Face” each other. The guards will remain at the position of “Carry Sword”. If a guard is unable to stand at “Carry Sword” then both guards may stand at “Parade Rest”.
