Theoretically possible Chapters based on total Society 675( 41%) Less than 13 membership Society Goal for 2006 987( 59%) Actual Chapters based on total Society 268( 16%) Total Society Number is 1662 Establishment of New Sections and Chapters 1)Support for the establishment of new sections and chapters 2)Support for the establishment of new chapters for newly established sections in R 10

Promotion of Globalization of IEEE 1)No geographic limits to its membership or activities 2)Influence in the IEEE organizational decision making process, especially at HQ level by all geographic regions 3)Promote international level events and activities in Region 10 4) Better representation of R 10 to IEEE HQ Committees

  9. Better Communication, Formation and Promotion 1) Better communication between chapters in R 10 and societies at IEEE HQ Level (distinguished lectures in R 10 by societies) 2) Formation and support of GOLD ( Graduates of Last Decade) Committee in Region 10. 3) Promote awareness of demographics with relation to membership employed by academia, industry, and government in Region 10.

  10. Maintain Information and Communications 1) Maintain information about the HQ SCSC Activities through the IEEE Professional Development Institute 2) Maintain information about national society(ies) and their career development activities with regard to the Section Chapter supports in Region 10. 3) Maintain information about the section chapter educational and training opportunities and promote these programs to the IEEE membership in Region 10. 4) Maintain communications with the IEEE HQ SCSC Activities contact
