  3. Tributaries • A Tributary is a stream or River that flows into a Parent River. • Tributaries of the River Severn include CoundBrook and the River Perry also Afon Clywedog.

  4. Meanders • A Meander is a bend on a River. • Meanders normally occur in the middle and lower courses Where the water is moving more slower.

  5. The Mouth • The mouth is the end of a river. • It leads out into the ocean from the river • The Mouth of the River Severn leads into the Bristol Channel.
